Rules And Regulation

  • Students are urged to contribute to the high tone of the school by their manners and general behaviour.
  • They should be polite, friendly and well behaved in and outside the school. They should be respectful to the elders and teachers and truthful at all time.
  • They should be orderly, clean in their person, and neatly dressed and should also co-operate to maintain cleanliness in school.
  • As far as posture, cleanliness, silence, attention to work and respect to teachers and companions are concerned, a classroom should be looked upon as a place of reverence and discipline.
  • Students are to line up in silence for the General Assembly at the sound of the first bell.
  • They should maintain absolute silence during the General Assembly and while moving into the classroom from the General Assembly. Silence should also be observed on the way to and while returning from games, library and laboratory.
  • General Assembly is the most important part of the school day. Every student should be present at it to begin the day with prayer to God and listen to the announcements and instructions of the Principal.
  • All must come to schools with lessons well prepared and home work done. Text and exercise books and material for drawing, S.U.P.W. should be brought to school according to day's routine.
  • Students should always strive to speak English in the school premises and acquire the fluency of conversation in English. They should maintain a high standard in their conversation.
  • Students are not allowed to visit the Staff Room.
  • No collection or sale of Raffle tickets, for any purpose whatsoever may be made without the prior sanction of the Principal. So also the presentation of gifts to staff members require prior sanction from the Principal. Collection announced by the Principal for a good cause need to be attended to.
  • No collective petition or complaint will be entertained but reasonable and individual ones will be sympathetically attended to.
  • Penalties may be imposed at the discretion of the Principal for breach of discipline, for habitual irregularity or late attendance.
  • Students, unless required to stay back for any purpose with the permission of the Principal, should leave the premises as soon as the school gets over. The school authorities are not responsible for the safety of any pupil after school hours. Necessary arrangements therefore should be made to take the children home immediately after school.
  • All students should be present in the School on the opening day of each term and also on re-opening day after Summer and Winter vacation. After three days of absence without an application a student’s name may be struck off the rolls.
  • Irregular attendance, unjustified absence or objectionable moral behaviour justifies dismissal. If a pupil is absent for ten consecutive days without an application, her/his name will be struck off the rolls.
  • No student, who has been absent from school without an application or is late will be admitted into class without the permission of the Principal.
  • No books other than required text books, may be brought to school. No student should bring to the school any objectionable article, electronic goods, such as camera, tape recorder, knives, weapons, crackers, CD’s, DVDs, mobile, explosives etc. The offenders are liable to be dismissed or rusticated from the school and the confiscated goods will not be returned. The decision of the school authorities is binding on all.
  • No student should leave the premises during class hours without the knowledge and permission of the Principal.
  • Any damage of the school property will have to be made good. The decision of the Principal regarding the amount is final.
  • The school is not responsible for goods lost. Students should not bring or wear valuable articles when coming to school.
  • No student suffering from a contagious or infectious disease will be permitted to attend School. After recovery, a medical fitness certificate is to be submitted.
  • Students are not allowed to make phone calls or receive visitors. They will not be permitted to leave the class to answer a phone call. If the matter is very urgent, the message will be given.
  • A student desiring to be exempted for P. T. or games must produce a doctor's certificate to the effect that he/ she is physically unfit to take part.
  • Private tutors may not be engaged except after consulting the Principal and with the written consent. No tuition may be taken from the teacher who teaches the particular subject to the students.
  • For sufficient reasons, such as unsatisfied progress in studies, serious misconduct, dishonesty or absence from a test / examination, non-payment of school fees, a student's name may be struck off from rolls.
  • All students when admitted and while studying in the school must make themselves acquainted with the rules notified for their conduct.
  • Cycle stand facility is available. Students coming by bicycles must pay the prescribed charges for the entire year and obtain pass from the fee counter in July. The pass has to be brought to the school everyday. Cycles must be kept in the stand always locked. Students are not permitted to bring motor cycles. School Bus facility is available. School bus fee is charged as per the distance.
  • The Principal's permission is required:

    • To make collection for any purpose whatsoever.
    • To join a sports meet or to play in a game not arranged by school.
    • To give presents to teachers or hold functions in their honour.
    • To arrange for private tuition from the school teachers.
  • Ignorance of the rules will not be an excuse.
